A Letter from Our Founder
Dear Parents, Caregivers, Educators, and Community Partners,
As we move into our fifth year of operation, we anticipate the excitement and eagerness of our students to grow, learn and experience new adventures with us! All of us at BPCA feel intentional about offering our students days filled with grace, joy, respect, and most of all, love. We are so grateful to have a community that works together, as parents/caregivers and educators for the care of our students.
For parents and caregivers, we are honored that you are exploring BPCA as a potential educational program for your child and family. The decision about how to best support your child’s education is among the most important a parent can make. We hope learning more about us helps you decide whether our school is the right fit for you.
We are committed to integrated curriculum and education, and recognize that you, the parents, are the primary educators. We honor you and work with you to help your child grow into a thoughtful, creative individual who has the tools to be successful in future academic endeavors and the world beyond our school. We share responsibility for every child.
For educators and community partners interested in collaborating or building a career with us, we highly value our school community and expect all BPCA staff and families to take an active, nurturing and positive roles to support this foundation of our children’s education. We believe teaching and learning is best accomplished within a caring community, so we offer many collaborative experiences, festivals and celebrations. Our arts-based inquiry pedagogy gives the child multiple modalities to express their understanding. We guide their discovery of the magic, sense of wonder, and inherent beauty in our natural world.
We look forward to being a part of your life and having your family in our community.

We are growing a community.
For the 2019-2020 school year, we offer programs for students ages 3.5 years to Grade 3. We also offer caregiver-child playgroups (18 months to 3.5 years).
Our strategic plan is to grow from early childhood all the way through high school, by adding a grade or mixed-grades program each year. We are looking forward to high school, where all of the academics and arts training start to overlap and blend together for a truly rewarding educational experience.
We develop learning initiatives and experiences.
We offer adult classes and workshops in the arts, lifestyle, parenting, and outdoor adventures. Our educator series is in the developmental stages, so please let us know what training programs you would like to see!
We are building relationships.
We collaborate with community organizations to highlight nature, science, and art utilizing North Texas’ natural resources.
